Dacron Warp: Dacron wrap is about 1/2" thick batting of polyester glued to the surface of the foam. Dacron give not real support and it is easily sqeezed in between the cover and the foam. It serves a few functions:
1. Rounds off the edges and gives the cushion a slight bulge or "crown" at the top and bottom (less boxy look).
2. Gives the cushion a tight , tount look (No Sagging).
3. Gives the cushion a soft hand on (dacron is considerably softer than foam). |
